In support of your visa application, you would require:
- Original passport with minimum 3 month’s validity from date of departure from the Schengen area / 6 months validity prior to submission and with two available blank pages.
- Appointment confirmation.
- Online submitted / application form and other supplementary forms.
- Any previous / expired passport.
- Business visa sponsorship letter from inviting company.
- Company support letter.
- Statement of purpose outlining the intent /reason for travel, travel itinerary, applicants profile etc.
- Evidence of employment / business.
- Evidence of income, savings and investments.
- Evidence of leave approval.
- Sponsorship documents from India (if applicable).
- Sponsorship documents from Spain (if applicable).
- Marriage certificate, children’s birth certificate (if applicable).

Passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended stay in the Schengen area / 6 month's prior to application and have two available blank pages.
It is at the discretion of the visa officer at the Embassy if they wish to call you in for a personal interview or not.

A short-stay visa is when the intended duration of stay in the Schengen area must be no more than 90 days (short stay) in any 180 day period.

A Schengen visa is valid for all 26 countries in the Schengen area unless indicated otherwise on the visa stamp. If your visa is still valid, you do not need to apply for another visa.

Yes. You need to carry both passports with you i.e. new passport (all the personal info must match the old passport) and the expired passport with a valid visa.
Schengen visa cannot be extended. On expiry, you need to apply for a new visa.
